L’ultima settimana del Festival Resist si apre mercoledì 5 maggio con l’appuntamento clou della sesta edizione: il reading di Wu Ming 2 Razza Partigiana. Storia di Giorgio Marincola. L’evento si terrà il 5 Maggio al Cinema Trieste at 21:30. The reading includes the creation of music from live musicians as Egle Sommacal value (maximum volume), Stefano Pilia, Paul and Federico Oppi Pieretto (Settlefish). The event is presented by Carlo Costa e Lorenzo Teodone, author of Partisan Race. History of Giorgio Marincola.

Giorgio Marincola was twenty years old when a band of German soldiers on the run May 4, 1945, after the war, makes a massacre in Val di Fiemme. The dead included a young man with dark skin. Inexplicable, because nobody could imagine that the partisans would have a young Italian-Somali who left school he joined the resistance, first to Rome, then in Biella. Captured and interned in Bolzano with the Liberation George had offered to continue helping in operations to "clear" the stragglers. And dies. Giorgio Marincola was an Italian with black skin, a "mulatto," a child born of a military colony of Italian and a Somali woman during the consolidation phase of the Italian colonial and military presence in Somalia.
