Finally, after nearly a year of gestation, we are happy and proud to introduce our baby, "SiciliAnimando", a cultural non-profit and non-party that was born from the desire of the team "Let's talk about" costs to realize the fine words on these pages. The intention to create the association, in fact, was already long, since that is, all we realized that our magazine was, yes, a beautiful realtà, ma che noi-redazione non avevamo un’identità ben definita e che, tutto sommato, non andava snobbato il detto antico secondo cui la consistenza dei fatti risulta più potente delle effimere parole. Così ci siamo rimboccati le maniche, e dopo aver scelto il nome (operazione non semplice, posso assicurarvelo!) abbiamo sottoscritto l’atto costitutivo il 10 Ottobre scorso. Con libere elezioni si è data vita ad un direttivo composto da cinque membri: Salvatore Monella (Presidente), Maria Diliberto (Vicepresidente), Katia Capobianco (Segretario), Giovanna Salamone (Tesoriere) e Giuseppe Licata (Consigliere). Gli obiettivi dell’associazioni sono molti e svariati: 1) promuovere e sviluppare la cultura in order to improve society bompensierina, 2) improve the relationship between young people and institutions, 3) engage in the study and rediscovery of local traditions, to enable the dissemination, 4) encourage the production and artistic creativity, 5) organize conferences, exhibitions, courses, professional training, cultural activities in schools, educational projects and extra-school education, audiovisual and multimedia production tools, or whatever 'is more useful to encourage the study of current issues or social interest; 6 ) make and publish the newsletter "Let's talk" and other periodicals and non-profits to achieve the objectives of the association; 7) provide some services or benefits to its members, or those of associated organizations in order to improve the relationship between the citizen and society, 8) encourage their members, and those of associated organizations, purchase of materials and goods related activity institutional 9) referring to the principles laid down in Article 3, together with all those who, in various fields of cultural and social life, work in defense of human dignity, peace, environment and solidarity among men and peoples; 10) initiatives to promote environmental awareness and protection of the territory. This is what our statute provides, in other words, what "SiciliAnimando" is propone di fare è dare, in primo luogo ai ragazzi (ma non solo), una valida alternativa all’ozio e all’apatia quotidiani portando avanti iniziative di tipo culturale, sociale e creativo. Attività, queste, che fungeranno anche da collante sociale, in un certo senso, e dalle quali si potrebbe generare la forza per ricucire i mille strappi del tessuto bompensierino. L’associazione,comunque, non ha solo vocazione campanilistica e, anzi, sarebbe un grande traguardo per noi superare i confini del nostro paese per raccogliere adesioni anche in altri centri. La ricetta non cambierà: così come per “ParliAMOne”, qualsiasi progetto sarà portato avanti in un’ottica di unione e collaborazione, senza any kind of discrimination.
